Operator information

EpicureCUE is the operator of CUE d’Amour. Privacy inquiries are accepted at support@epicurecue.com.

Scope of this Policy

This Policy applies to the website, web browser version, iOS app version, APIs, authentication, billing, support, account deletion and all user information handled for CUE d’Amour.

Eligible age

The service is intended for users aged 18 or older. If underage use is confirmed, EpicureCUE may suspend or delete the account and related data.

Information we collect

EpicureCUE may collect the following information to provide CUE d’Amour. Users should avoid entering unnecessary personal information or third-party identifying details.

• account and authentication information
• profiles of the user and partner
• conversation logs and message text manually entered or pasted by the user
• AI analysis, reply candidates and relationship reports
• purchase status, in-app purchase records, Love Tokens and Standard monthly status
• usage logs, device/browser information, IP address and error logs
• support inquiries and campaign participation information

Purpose of use

The information is used to provide, maintain and improve the service; manage accounts, sessions, purchases and Love Tokens; provide self/partner analysis, conversation analysis, reply generation and relationship reports; respond to support; prevent misuse; and comply with law.

Use of AI services

External AI services such as OpenAI API may be used for reply generation, analysis and relationship reports. Information is sent only to the extent necessary, and user conversation logs or profile text are not used to train general models without explicit consent.

Human review

Human review is limited to support requests, defect investigation, billing correction, deletion requests, suspected misuse, legal requests, or protection of rights and safety. Access is limited and logged where appropriate.

Relationship with external apps, LINE, SNS and dating apps

CUE d’Amour does not automatically access LINE, SNS, dating apps, contacts or DMs. Conversation logs are obtained only when the user copies, pastes or enters them manually.

Third-party disclosure and outsourcing

Information may be provided to contractors or external service providers only as necessary for hosting, AI processing, billing, analytics, support, security and legal compliance. EpicureCUE supervises contractors as required.

Main external services

Main external services may include hosting providers, OpenAI API, Apple App Store billing, Google Analytics 4 and email/support tools. The exact services may change as the service evolves.

Processing outside Japan and cross-border transfer

Information may be processed outside Japan by external service providers. EpicureCUE will consider applicable laws and provider safeguards when handling cross-border processing.

Retention period

Information is retained only for the period necessary for service provision, billing, security, support, legal compliance and dispute handling, then deleted or anonymized where appropriate.

Account deletion and data deletion

Users may request account deletion and data deletion through the account deletion page or support. Subscription cancellation and account deletion are different procedures and may need to be handled separately.

User choices and rights

Users may request disclosure, correction, deletion, suspension of use or other handling of their information to the extent permitted by applicable law and operational requirements.

Cookies and analytics

Cookies and analytics are used for login, session maintenance, settings, access analysis, quality improvement and security. Details are provided in the Cookie Policy and External Transmission Policy.

App permissions

At the initial release, the service does not require access to contacts, camera, microphone, precise GPS location or photo library for ordinary use. If future features require permissions, this Policy will be updated.

Notices and campaign benefits

EpicureCUE may send important notices about the service, policy changes, maintenance, safety and campaign benefits. Measurement is limited to the purpose of service operation and improvement.

Security measures

EpicureCUE implements reasonable security measures such as access control, audit logs, encryption where appropriate, least-privilege operation and safeguards against unauthorized access.

Use of anonymized and statistical information

EpicureCUE may use anonymized or aggregated statistical information for quality improvement, feature planning, reliability improvement and service analysis, provided individuals cannot be identified.

Compliance with laws and public authorities

EpicureCUE may disclose or preserve information when required by law, courts, administrative bodies, investigation authorities, dispute handling or protection of rights and safety.

Business succession

If the service or business is transferred, user information may be transferred within the necessary scope, subject to appropriate notice or procedures required by law.

Changes to this Policy

EpicureCUE may change this Policy due to legal changes, service changes, external service changes, security needs or operational requirements. Important changes will be announced appropriately.
